Turkeys & Toys is a Basic Needs DAO initiative. This notice explains the information requested through this registration hub and how it supports campaign coordination.

What we collect

Household registration asks for an adult contact, contact details, household size, location information needed for coordination, requested assistance and relevant pickup needs. Christmas requests can include each child’s age and toy interests.

Community partners can submit more than one household. Volunteer, vendor, sponsor, media, performer and pop-up forms collect contact details and information relevant to the participation you select.

Please do not submit Social Security numbers, financial account details, identification documents, medical records or detailed diagnoses through these forms. Describe any accessibility assistance in practical terms.

How registration details are used

Information is used to review requests, identify possible duplicate submissions, plan food and gift needs, coordinate approved participation and record collection or fulfillment. Contact details are used to communicate about the request you submit.

Relevant details may be shared with the authorized team members and service partners coordinating your request. Software and hosting providers process the information needed to operate this hub. Household and child details are not intended for public display.

Registering on someone else’s behalf

Only submit another household’s information when its adult representative has authorized you to do so. Community partners should explain the purpose of the registration, share this notice and supply only the details needed to coordinate support.

Children’s information should be provided by a parent, guardian or an authorized adult representative. Children should not complete these forms themselves.

What a registration means

A registration is a request for support or participation. A receipt reference confirms that a submission was recorded; it does not by itself confirm an allocation, pickup time, volunteer shift, vendor space, sponsorship arrangement or event ticket.

Thanksgiving and Christmas allocations are reviewed separately against available resources. Follow the specific confirmation for your household before traveling or arranging collection.

Your choice about updates

Campaign and promotional updates are a separate, optional choice on assistance and general participation forms. Assistance does not depend on donating, volunteering, social media activity or joining an update list.

The dedicated pop-up interest list requires an explicit choice to receive pop-up updates. You can ask to stop those updates using the contact address below. That does not cancel an unrelated household assistance request.

Keep your registration access private

Save your receipt reference and any private status link provided after submission. Treat a private status link like a password: anyone with that link may be able to see your registration details. Avoid posting it publicly or sharing it beyond the people authorized to coordinate your request.

Corrections, questions and removal requests

Contact Basic Needs DAO to request a correction, ask how your information is being used, withdraw a participation request or ask about removing your details. Include your reference if available, and avoid sending sensitive personal information in your first message.

Some information may need to be retained to reconcile a completed distribution, address a pending request or meet recordkeeping requirements. The team can explain what applies to your request.

Donations and external services

When an active donation link directs you to Givebutter, that service handles the donation and payment process under its own terms and privacy policy. This registration hub does not ask for payment-card details to request household assistance.
